Celebrate Valentine’s night with Trio Metro: a piano, sax, and drums trio that brings together classic jazz tradition and contemporary flair. Drawing from jazz standards of the 1940s and 1950s, they also perform contemporary covers with a jazz twist.

The group features Mindy Towe on saxophone, Tracy Reynolds on keys, and Ron Balthazor on drums. Each musician brings a long musical history and a wide range of musical experiences.

For this Valentine’s performance, Trio Metro will be joined on vocals by Cher Ross Schmidt, a vocalist, actor, and director in musical theater and drama. When not performing on stage, she uses these skills in the classroom as a pre-k teacher.

The evening will feature a special guest opener, Avianna Radford, a vocalist with a rich, lively sound who blends classic jazz standards with a modern edge.

This is an ideal night for spending Valentine’s evening with live jazz and good company.
