This Friday, we’re opening up the Listening Room for a birthday celebration for one of our own.

Rod Avera is part of the David’s 105 community as an open mic regular, performer, sound assistant, and all-around helping hand whenever we need one. So we’re celebrating him the best way we know how: with music, friends, and an open stage.

This will be a casual birthday jam with regulars, friends, musicians, and anyone who wants to stop by. People can get up and play, join in, or just hang out and enjoy the night. If the stage gets quiet, we’ll keep music going in the room.

The adjoining bar will be open to purchase drinks and food, the vibe will be relaxed, and everyone is welcome.
