We’re bringing Andy Kahrs to David’s 105 Listening Room for an intimate Saturday night of roots music in Downtown Monroe.

Andy Kahrs brings a sound that feels lived-in from the first note, making him a natural fit for an intimate listening room. His songs pull from blues, soul, folk, and classic country, carried by fingerpicked guitar, expressive slide work, and a voice that knows when to lean tender and when to dig in.

Based in Nashville and originally from Atlanta, Kahrs writes and performs with a deep sense of roots tradition without sounding stuck in it. His music has landed on Spotify’s “Got Blues” and “Best Blues of 2022” editorial playlists, and Music Mecca has highlighted both his vocal strength and original releases.

At David’s 105 Listening Room, he is the kind of songwriter who should land especially well in a seated, attentive live music setting: strong songs, real feeling, and the kind of musicianship that rewards a quiet crowd.
