We’re bringing Colin Cutler to David’s 105 Listening Room for an intimate evening of folk, Americana, and Southern storytelling.
Colin is a Greensboro, North Carolina-based singer-songwriter, folk musician, poet, and storyteller who writes sharp, detailed songs with a clear literary streak. His music draws on American folk and roots traditions and is carried by banjo, guitar, and harmonica, with stories that wrestle with faith, place, trouble, humor, and whatever comes next.
Opening the evening is Shaw Coggin, a Georgia folk singer-songwriter with a clear ear for melody and a storyteller’s sense of detail. His latest album Front Page News finds him leaning further into folk songwriting, pairing personal narratives with songs that feel direct, warm, and unforced.
Together, Colin Cutler and Shaw Coggin make this a strong listening room night: two Southern songwriters, two distinct voices, and a shared focus on story, craft, and songs worth hearing up close.
